It is probably insane to give reasons not to travel to a neighboring country.
Being in the UAE for half a decade, I have been grateful to immerse in various cultures and people of the Caucasus and months before, a part of Africa.
Situated in the northern section of Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, the Musandam region of Oman is one of the spots to go to for a quick short break from our usual Dubai life. As we are still experiencing the cold spells of February, we thought of a better escapade than to spend it in the city.
With the help of DoJoin app, we inquired and availed of their Musandam-Dibba package for only AED169 inclusive of:
✅Pick up & Drop off at the said location
✅ 5-6 Hours Dhow Cruise
✅ Dedicated Guest relations crew(English Speaking/Language Speaking Guide if required)
✅ Buffet Lunch onboard 🍽️🥗🍛🧆🥙
✅ Soft Drinks🥤 & Mineral Water🧃
✅ Fresh Fruits 🍏🍐🍓& Assorted Packed Snacks
✅ Banana boat ride/speed boat🚤 ride/Fishing/Kayaking🛶
✅ Recorded instrumental Music in Dhow(Guest can play music from their USB/CDs)
We met up at Spinney's Burjuman at around 0730H while the driver patiently waited for us to get our orders in McDonald's for the road. Stopped over at some pick up points for the other joiners and off we went Dibba for over 2 hours as the agent gave us our visa.
We transferred from the shuttle van and alighted a boat for dhow cruise in the port where the staff were all welcoming. Tea and coffee with biscuits served as we walked along the tanning beds and arab-themed couches. It took less than 30 minutes for the cruise to dock to the nearby shores. The white sand beach feasted our eyes with clear blue waters perfect for swimming. Though we opted not to do some water activities, the staff offered us to ride the speed boat and try banana boating for picture purposes only. We then went back to the boat with the others and ate some noodles, fried chicken and fish with salad and fruits. Beverages are unlimited as well.
As the boat cruised, I accidentally took a good nap in one of the tanning beds. Probably one of the best naps I've ever had in the middle east. Away from the air-conditioned space and just hearing the seagulls sing as the sun strikes at the tented boat while serenaded by mild arabic music.
The tour lasted until 1700H and we returned to the port and back to the city at around 1900H. Got to say kudos to the driver for letting us alight in Deira City Center instead in Burjuman,
